Thanks to five families stepping up to help defray the expense of keeping the pool open longer, it will remain open through Sunday, Oct. 24. They are each donating $50. If anyone else is still enjoying the pool and would like to help offset the heating and chlorine costs, please let us know.
There have been some questions about whether members who swim in the morning need to put the pool cover back on because others might show up later to swim. With the cooler weather, we're finding that sometimes no one else shows up, so the pool doesn't get covered.
We are asking you to cover the pool when you leave if you are the last ones no matter what time of day it is.
